St Cecilia Lodge was founded in 1945 by several leading masonic musicians and continues to this day to promote the enjoyment of music within freemasonry.

We are a masonic lodge within the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) and, as a London Lodge, of the Metropolitan Grand Lodge.

St Cecilia Lodge is also a member lodge of the UGLE Universities Scheme and as such we are always keen to hear from prospective candidates for membership who are still in full-time education. As a lodge with a focus on music, we particularly welcome expressions of interest from students at conservatoires in London who are keen to learn more about freemasonry.

Meetings
We meet four times a year at Freemasons' Hall, Great Queen Street, London WC2, at 5.0pm on:
  • the fourth Wednesday in January
  • the first Wednesday in May
  • the fourth Wednesday in September
  • the fourth Wednesday in November (installation meeting)
